Now that we spend so many hours at home, it is important to create a more pleasant, comfortable and, above all, healthier environment.
In addition, plants can be great allies, playing a fundamental role in purifying the environment, in addition to being a reference of joy and vitality.
Plants are beneficial for health in general, and taking care of them can be a good step towards reducing stress, controlling anxiety or, if we wish, a good form of meditation.
We have already left you here with essential tips for taking care of plants and today we reinforce those same tips, adding, if necessary, how to recover others that, due to lack of time, were left to abandon.
The lack of light will be a problem, but everything will also depend on the species of plants you have at home. You should try to explore and learn more about them so that you can place it in the most ideal place in the house.
Still, it should be noted that direct sunlight can also be harmful: if you decide to place the plant next to a window, you must protect it to prevent the leaves from burning.
Excess water is the main enemy of plants. Each season requires more or less abundant irrigation, not as much as you might think, since the conditions inside are quite different from the outside.
You can water it properly and keep it in the best spot in the house, but if you don't take humidity into account, all efforts can go down the drain. A good indicator is the dry tips of the leaves. You can keep them hydrated by spraying it from time to time.
Most plants respond well to an environment with a temperature between 15 and 25º, depending on whether it is summer or winter, whether there are heaters or air conditioning, considered as enemies of the species.
In order to make photosynthesis easier, it is recommended to ventilate the rooms and clean the leaves with a damp cloth, so that the dust does not accumulate and prevents perspiration.
But not only from indoor plants does a house live. If you have a patio, a garden, or even a balcony, you can take advantage of these spaces to create true outdoor oases, adding some furniture that is "lost" in the loft, giving it a new use.
