Multicolored and cheerful clothing store
Multicolored walls, geometric floors and a seesaw are present in this West London fashion store, designed by Yinka Ilori to match the playful nature of the brand's clothing collections.
The 74 square meter store, which Mira Mikati (founder of the brand) dubbed Happy House, is located in a boutique area in London's affluent Chelsea neighborhood.
This is the brand's first flagship store, which produces brightly colored clothing items that are "imbued with smiles".
Designer Ilori was approached by the brand's founder to create the store's inaugural fit, which will be renewed by a different creative each season.
The store's blocks were painted in different colors. The front section is sun yellow, the rear is sea green and the door frames and skylights are bubble gum.
The garments were hung on simple white chariots, while books, accessories and household items are displayed on block skirting boards or on the wooden table that appears in the middle of the store.
Some items are also featured on fun recycled chairs, each filled with attractive shades.
The floor was covered in vinyl printed with multicolored circles, squares and triangles and extends to the back garden of the store, where the peripheral brick walls were painted blue. In the center, there is a multicolored seesaw.
Mira Mikati's clothes have elements of joy and hope, which can be very exciting, so it was extremely important to extend these elements of fun, joy and hope to the outdoor space.
A corner of the store also offers edible delicacies for customers, including chocolates, energy bars and cold-pressed vibrant juices.
