But today we present a very special house. Special and sweet, since it was once a chocolate factory, but has since gained a second life and is now a residential property.
The guest house is located in Spain, more specifically in the Catalan city of La Bisbal d'Empordà.
The property transformation project was signed by the architectural firm Anna and Eugeni Bach and was named Dirk and the Chocolate Factory.
It is a small warehouse - an old chocolate factory - that was built at the end of the 19th century, and during the transformation works few changes were made, in order to keep as many original and old elements as possible.
The residence is full of stone.
Wood and white tones are a constant throughout the house.
There are spaces for relaxing outdoors, with plenty of shade.
It is observed in a whole the green contrasting with the stone.
Brick is also always present.
