Christmas ornaments easy to make with materials we have at home

Making the Christmas decoration of the house can be a fun time with family or friends. Even more if everyone decides to get their hands dirty, create their own ornaments and assemble a personalized decoration. If that's your case, don't miss out on the ideas we've separated to inspire you. They are easy to make ornaments, in the style of "DIY - do it yourself".

Wire Angels

Thin wires can give life to Christmas ornaments in the shape of little angels. Three buds form the head and the two wings. And the clothes can be made of fabrics that combine light tones and plaid. The simple silhouette brings a playful look to the decor.

Table placed with affection

This Christmas cannot go unnoticed, the decoration ends up bringing the Christmas spirit to the top, so you can abuse it! Use crockery, rustic napkins and to complete a card with the menu of what will be served. It ends up being a funny family moment.

Felt decoration

To vary the Christmas decoration, use pressed felt plates and create your own personalized dolls. Cut out the material in the shape and then decorate as you like.

Recycled Christmas Tree

Instead of going to waste, papers that no longer serve can become a small table tree. To do this, cut pieces of various sizes and stick them on a barbecue stick. Start with the smallest pieces, which will be the tip of the tree, and move on to the larger ones. Arrange the ends to make them look flawed and, finally, stick the toothpick in a vase.

Different garnish

Simple and elegant, this Christmas ornament is very easy to assemble. Just create a triangle-shaped base with wooden slats, which can be glued. Then, just install a gain on the top and hang the balls with nylon thread.

Decorated jute yarn

Jute, a natural textile fiber, is a material widely used in Christmas decorations. A cord made of it with small origami trees can yield a simple and great effect ornament. Try placing it over the big tree or in other compositions around the house.

Little lights in the glass

Take a beautiful glass that you already have at home and put some moss in the bottom. Then add lights and Christmas inside it to create a bright and stylish piece for your decor.

Innovate with garlands

Instead of the traditional round garlands, how about betting on a triangular garland? And you can even set up arrangements with two or three pieces, for example. To decorate, use flowers and leaves, which can be tied at the base of the triangle.

Natural touch

Here is the jute again present in the Christmas decoration. To make this ornament, just baste a piece of the fabric and leave it puffing. Then just hang on the tree. The effect is a natural and contrasting look.

Santa Claus

If you have talent for sewing, try using them to create these fun ornaments. Wool pompoms act as a beard for Santa Claus. Then, just put a small nose of fabric and make the hat with felt.

It can and should give free rein to your imagination. There are a thousand and one ways to decorate the house without spending a lot of money.
