Saint John of Braga 2022

From the 15th to the 24th of June, the city of Braga will host numerous artists for the São João festivities. This festival is considered one of the largest nationally and the oldest Sanjoanina festival in the country.

Bearing in mind that in 2021 São João was “Entre Portas”, this year the long-awaited event will feature several typical elements of the pilgrimage that have always marked the party, such as street vendors and entertainment spaces.

If there is a characteristic that distinguishes the festivals of São João de Braga from the other Sanjoanina festivals in Portugal, it is their history, so ancient, grandiose and memorable, made by the people of its community!

Concerts by Philharmonic Bands, Processions, Cantares and names such as Emanuel, Santamaria and José Cid, will be present this year at São João de Braga 2022.
