September is a month of returns. Back to work, to routine and of course to school. And maybe it's time to make some changes in the children's room at home, either because they are going to school for the first time or because they are growing up. In today's article we present some ideas for your children to enjoy a suitable homework area for this new year.
We chose this photo because it is one of the most won by users of Houzz. At mid-height, the frame leaves room for a storage module at the bottom - as the removable table takes up no more than an inch of space when not in use.
In this room, one wall has been reserved for a built-in wardrobe and a similar style table, which, while not being too large, is more than sufficient and has good storage space, thanks to drawers and shelves.
When children are younger they need to spend more time reading and doing homework. A personalized space is essential for them to feel comfortable. Nothing beats a large table with simple lines placed by the window to enjoy the natural light.
Another good custom solution, in a sense similar to that proposed by interior designer Susanna Cots, with the removable table, is the one you can see in this picture. In this case you can see a library area used to set up a folding table which, in reality, is also a beautiful desk.
In a standard room, like the one in this photo, it would be a good idea to put a study table that also serves as a bedside table, where children can leave the alarm clock or the book they are reading. Again, less is always more. We like this table because of its simple lines and because it has enough storage capacity.
