For many, autumn is the favorite season of the year and the lower temperatures call for comfort.
If we can combine that with our decor, it's half the battle to feel in full harmony when we get home.
Autumn colors are warm and cozy, so if you like decoration, just let your imagination run wild and dress your home according to this season of the year.
Here are some tips you can put into practice!
Bring the plush rugs and heavier fabric curtains to the living room and bedrooms. Knits, suede, fur and wool create a more cozy decor and in autumn there's nothing like being wrapped in warm blankets.
Small touches with these fabrics on top of the sofa or bed are enough for spaces to become more autumnal.
Swap tropical summer flowers for dried flowers in orange, brown and greenish tones. If there are colors that call autumn it is these, as they refer us to the leaves of the trees that are falling and covering the ground.
These autumnal arrangements provide a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
It is true that colder temperatures call for more sober colors instead of gaudy. Neutral colors easily combine with any type of decor and this allows us to take a little more risk and play with some details in our decor.
Are you a fan of scents? Spread candles or air fresheners around the house with sweet scents, such as vanilla, cinnamon or pine. In addition to perfuming the environment, they create a relaxing atmosphere. After all, we all like to come home after a day of work and enter a fragrant and cozy environment.
