A plane, parked outside the TWA Hotel at New York's JFK Airport, has been transformed into a retro-themed cocktail bar.
The interior transformation restores many of the airplane's original elements, such as window blinds, passenger seats and cokpit.
The plane also pays tribute to Eero Saarinen, the architect behind TWA's terminal, including his designs and making reference to his architectural masterpieces.

The interior staging combines a mix of vintage pieces with modern furniture. Antique details such as TWA's cocktail trolleys, board games and the iconic red carpet allow guests to travel back in time when the TWA terminal opened in 1962.
The middle section of the plane is replaced by modern suede sofas along the window, which create a wider passageway for guests to be at the bar.
In the back of the plane, six passenger seats have been redesigned by Aaron Sciandra, who designed the 1960s vintage-inspired seat pockets and covers. The three-tiered passenger seats have enough legroom and to a side table where guests can place drinks.
Designated as a New York City landmark in 1994, the TWA terminal epitomized the glamor and optimism of the jet age. Following its closure in 2021, the terminal undertook an 18-year renovation project to become a landmark hotel with 512 quants in 2019.
