University of Minho raises toys for needy children
The University of Minho (UMinho) launched, as usual, the Toy Collection Campaign "OFFER and make a child happy!". The toys collected will be given to needy children and children with special needs.
The Campaign runs until December and aims to raise awareness of the donation of a toy you no longer need or to offer new toys so that everyone can participate and help bring the magic of Christmas, not just to needy children, but also to children with special needs.
The UMinho Industrial Electronics Department's Robotics Laboratory will also focus on adapting electronic toys so that they can be used by children with special needs.
All toys will be delivered to institutions that work with children with special needs and also to institutions with children in need.
