Officials and health experts say there are still behaviors to be avoided in this first phase of the deconfination plan.
After almost two months of confinement due to the pandemic, the desire to leave home and make plans with friends and family will be great. But beware, at this stage and although the Government has authorized greater freedom of movement, with the exit of the national emergency state and transition to the situation of calamity, there are behaviors to be avoided and extra care to be taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, since the incubation period can be up to 14 days.
We now present a set of advice from the Health authorities for carrying out social activities.
Although this type of activity is permitted by law, from the point of view of public health, for now, dinners with friends and / or family should be avoided whenever possible, as we are at a very early stage when we need to maintain our caution.
We should therefore avoid dinners with friends and family as much as possible. From the point of view of mental health, it is good to be with the people we like and with whom we have an affinity, but it will be better to continue promoting what is contact through telecommunications, at least in this first phase.
This behavior depends on how each person moves to the family's home. In other words, if public transport is used for these visits, care alone will have to be doubled. On the other hand, it depends a lot on whether parents, grandparents, or other family members have risk factors associated or not, or whether they are included in the age group of the population that should be protected the most.
Proper precautions must be taken to make these types of visits, from the correct washing of the hands to the reinforcement of the respiratory label. In addition, it is advisable not to go to the family home after visiting a public space.
