A hidden and enchanted beauty where time seems to stand still. Antikythera is a Greek islet in southern Peloponnese, with the typical Greek village look: whitewashed houses, alleys, some taverns and many shops. But it is currently only inhabited by 40 inhabitants, hence the "campaign", which will surely attract many people.
The village church offers families who decide to move a house, a land to grow or start a business, and a check for 500 euros a month for the first three years.
Still, it will be necessary to pass the church's "sieve", which provides for a strict set of rules - even because funds are limited. So far, only four families have been casting and all come from Athens - the Greek population has priority over the other candidates.
